Sardine Misua Soup

Ingredients
- 1 can King Cup Sardines in Tomato Sauce
- 1 bundle misua
- 1 tbsp cooking oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 small onion, sliced
- 1 tomato, chopped
- 2 cups water
- 1 egg, lightly beaten, optional
- 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
- Spring onions, chopped, for garnish
Instructions
- Heat oil in a small pot over medium heat.
- Saute garlic until fragrant.
- Add onion and tomato. Cook for 2-3 minutes until softened.
- Add King Cup Sardines and gently stir.
- Pour in water and bring to a gentle simmer.
- Let the broth simmer for 3 minutes to blend the tomato sauce with the aromatics.
- Add misua and stir lightly.
- Cook for 1-2 minutes only, until the noodles soften.
- Slowly pour in the beaten egg while stirring gently, if using.
- Season with black pepper.
- Top with spring onions and serve immediately.
