Spanish Sardine Aglio Olio Pasta
A premium pasta dish made with garlic, chili, oil, and King Cup Premium Spanish Sardines.

Ingredients
- 1 can King Cup Premium Spanish Sardines
- 180-200g spaghetti
- 3 tbsp oil from the sardine can or olive oil
- 5 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 1/2 tsp chili flakes
- 1/4 cup pasta water
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- Parsley, chopped, optional
- Calamansi or lemon, for finishing
Instructions
- Cook spaghetti in salted boiling water until al dente.
- Reserve 1/4 cup pasta water before draining.
- Heat sardine oil or olive oil in a pan over medium-low heat.
- Add sliced garlic and cook slowly until fragrant and lightly golden.
- Add chili flakes.
- Add King Cup Premium Spanish Sardines and warm gently.
- Add cooked pasta to the pan.
- Add a splash of pasta water and toss until the pasta looks glossy.
- Season with black pepper.
- Finish with parsley and calamansi or lemon.
- Serve immediately.
