Spanish Sardine Garlic Toast

Ingredients

  • 1 can King Cup Premium Spanish Sardines
  • 4 slices baguette, sourdough, or toasted loaf bread
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise or cream cheese
  • 1 small garlic clove, grated
  • 1 tsp calamansi or lemon juice
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • Parsley or spring onions, chopped
  • Chili flakes, optional

Instructions

  1. Toast the bread until crisp.
  2. In a bowl, mix mayonnaise or cream cheese with grated garlic, calamansi juice, and black pepper.
  3. Spread the garlic cream over each toast.
  4. Place King Cup Premium Spanish Sardines on top.
  5. Spoon a little sardine oil over the toast.
  6. Garnish with parsley, spring onions, or chili flakes.
  7. Serve immediately.
