Ingredients
- 1 can King Cup Spicy Sardines
- 1 1/2 cups hot cooked rice
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp cooking oil
- 1 tbsp onion, finely chopped
- 1 tbsp spring onions, chopped
- Cucumber slices, optional
- Calamansi, for serving
- Chili oil, optional
Instructions
- Heat a small pan over medium heat.
- Add King Cup Spicy Sardines and warm gently.
- Let the sauce reduce for 1-2 minutes until slightly thicker.
- In a separate pan, fry the egg sunny-side up.
- Place hot rice in a bowl.
- Spoon the spicy sardines and sauce over the rice.
- Place the fried egg on top.
- Garnish with onion, spring onions, and cucumber.
- Finish with calamansi or chili oil.
